2023 FIATA Statutory General Meeting quickly approaching! Register now!
The 2023 FIATA Statutory General Meeting (GM) will bring together FIATA Association Members virtually on Friday 30 June from 14:00 to 15:30 CEST. FIATA Association Members should register by Thursday 22 June.

A second link is available here as an official registration form for all voting delegates. A 4-digit code can be proposed on this link which will allow you to enter the Association voting platform on the day of the GM. Voting delegates MUST also register on this link.
As it is customary, the FIATA Headquarters is organising several test sessions ahead of the Statutory GM for Association Members, their voting delegates and other appointed representatives in order to ensure that they do not experience technical issues on the voting day.

FIATA would like to remind you that the deadline for paying annual membership fees is 31 May, according to Article 4.7 (b) of the FIATA Statutes. Please note that 'membership shall be suspended if the member does not meet its financial obligations in due time' in accordance with Article 4.6.2. and that 'the suspension shall be deemed annulled with the receipt of all amounts outstanding'.
Associations must appoint one voting delegate, who must be registered by Thursday 22 June. If an Association is not able to join, a proxy can be appointed by Tuesday 20 June, and FIATA must be informed.
2023 FIATA Electoral Meeting at 2023 FWC
The 2023 FIATA Electoral General Meeting will take place in Brussels at the 2023 FIATA World Congress on Friday 6 October at 11:00-13:00 CEST. Please note that the nomination deadline for candidacy is 5 June. If you need more information on this matter, please write to gm@fiata.org.

2023 FIATA World Congress Brussels final site visit: the scene is set!
In a third and final site visit to the organising Association and event venues of the 2023 FIATA World Congress, FIATA explored the Brussels Congress sites in 3 intense days of programme, in which key finalisations were made ahead of this year's event. Forward Belgium, the organising Association of the upcoming edition, toured event host FIATA around the Congress' key meeting and social event venues, of which you can get a taste in the photos below!
The scene is set to welcome the global logistics community to the de facto capital of the European Union and many international organisations. In addition to a stimulating congress and dynamic exhibition area, the social programme will make networking a one of a kind experience at the Brussels Comics Art Museum and Autoworld Museum Brussels.
FIATA also engaged with several speakers and exhibitors who bring together expertise on various modes of transport ranging from industry to academia. Stay tuned for more updates!
Network with FIATA and supply chain leaders at the ICC World Chambers Congress, Geneva!
Join FIATA at the 2023 International Chamber of Commerce World Chambers Congress (WCC) jointly hosted by the Geneva Chambers of Commerce (CCIG) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) - from 21-23 June at Palexpo, Geneva. FIATA will be present at booths No. 28 and 29 along with FIATA Partners, Komgo and Arab Bank to promote the FIATA digital strategy, highlighting the secured, multimodal, negotiable Digital FIATA Bill of Lading (eFBL).
Dr Stéphane Graber, FIATA Director General, will join an illustrious roster of speakers including the heads of many UN organisations, International Chambers of Commerce (ICC), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), International Trade Center (ITC), and transport giants like MSC. FIATA will participate in the Panel titled "Digital Trade: what's in it for you?" at 11:25-12:00 CEST on June 22, a day dedicated to innovation for all by all.
FIATA will host networking sessions and cocktails at its booth for its Chamber of Commerce Association Members and key supply chain stakeholders and partners. ICAO-FIATA Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme goes to the Republic of Korea!
On 31 May, FIATA had the opportunity to share about the ICAO-FIATA Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme on 'The Future of Civil Aviation Training in a Digital World' panel at the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium 2023.
FIATA Director General Stéphane Graber emphasised the increasing importance that the learning experience and storytelling will have on training success over pure content delivery, the digital transformation and use of AI in applied learning, and the complementary nature of people and machines. The different variations of training were also analysed, with summaries of the potential disadvantages of digital-only training.
The speakers of the panel also exchanged on their experiences of Competency-based Training Assessment (CBTA), with FIATA sharing examples from its joint Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme.
FIATA meets with ICAO Secretary General
During the ICAO Global Implementation Support Symposium 2023, FIATA had the chance to meet with ICAO's General Juan Carlos Salazar, and sends him and his team a big congratulations for the success of the event in Seoul, Republic of Korea!
The FIATA Director General contributed to the event as one of many expert speakers. FIATA looks forward to further supporting ICAO and working at deepening the collaboration between both organisations in the best interest of the airfreight community around the world. Stay tuned for more!
FIATA President visits Portugese Association and Cargo Partners Network event
For the first time, on 29 May, APAT (Associação dos Transitários de Portugal) received the FIATA President, Dr Ivan Petrov. Present to welcome Dr Petrov were the Executive President of APAT, António Nabo Martins, and the training manager and member of the FLI (FIATA Logistics Institute), Mariana Teixeira do Vale.
APAT thanks Dr Petrov for taking the time to meet and talk about the future of freight forwarders and the challenges ahead.
During the President's visit to Portugal, he also attended the 25th Annual Silver Anniversary Conference of the Cargo Partners Network and presented on FIATA's work and the interchange between digitalisation, sustainability and cybersecurity.
